Dr. Michelle Forbes is a nationally recognized healthcare executive, leadership strategist, and founder of Nexus Healthcare Advisors (NHA). With over two decades of experience across primary care, critical care, and quality improvement, she has successfully led multimillion-dollar performance turnarounds in both outpatient and acute care settings.
Dr. Forbes is board-certified in Nursing Executive Leadership (NE-BC), Ambulatory Care (AMB-BC), and Evidence-Based Practice (EBP-C), and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Loma Linda University. Her specialty is equipping healthcare leaders to drive measurable transformation without burnout—through leadership coaching, Lean Six Sigma strategies, CMS-aligned operational improvements, and values-based execution.
Under Dr. Forbes' leadership, NHA helps hospitals and clinics fix flow issues, strengthen compliance, and achieve lasting culture change. She also offers executive coaching and leadership development programs for high-performing clinical teams.
